Based around the fact that Caged Steel only intended to sponsor leading fighters and events, meant they needed to be positioned as the number one brand to follow. This approach invited the consumer to either 'wear it' if they wanted to be on the winning team, or 'fear it' if they were prepared to support inferior fighters and their associated teams.
